How prop firm payouts work
Before each payout, firms check conditions since your last request: a number of winning days (sometimes with a minimum profit per day) or traded days, sometimes a balance to keep above your starting balance, and often a consistency rule.
Then they limit the amount: a minimum and a maximum per payout (at some firms the maximum rises with each payout), sometimes a share of your profit, and a profit split, the share you keep.
Example: on a 50K where you must keep $52,100, with a balance of $53,800 you can request at most $1,700, within the firm’s minimum and maximum.
