Prop firms

How we verify prop firm rules.

Where the rules come from, how often they’re checked, what counts as a change, and what Sweep can’t promise.

Sources

Each rule comes from the firm’s own pages: its website, its help center and its rules and payout policies. When an official page doesn’t state a value in text, a secondary source can be used: it is then named, dated and marked as a third-party source on the firm’s page. The firms Sweep checks, and the sites it reads:

How often

Every week, Sweep reads every firm’s pages again and compares each rule with the previous check: profit targets, max loss and how it trails, daily loss limits, consistency, minimum days, payout conditions, contracts and prices. Some firms are also checked by hand on their help center, as Alpha Futures, Apex Trader Funding and Take Profit Trader were on October 13, 2026. The date of the last check is on each firm’s page.

What triggers a rule change

A value that the firm changed on its pages, once confirmed, becomes a new version of the rules: it’s dated on the firm’s page and on the rule changes page, with an RSS feed. A check never removes a rule or adds a payout condition on its own: a rule that can’t be read anymore, or a condition that appears where there was none, is reviewed first. When Sweep corrects a value it had read wrong, that’s a correction of its own data, not a change by the firm, and it isn’t listed as one.

Your account, your choice

When a rule changes, traders whose account uses it are notified. On the account’s page they choose to apply the new rules or keep theirs: nothing changes in an account without them. Every value of an account stays editable at any time.

Spot an error?

Write to hello@makeitsweep.com with the firm, the account type and the page that shows the right value. Sweep checks it against the firm’s official page and corrects its rules: new accounts get the right value, and traders whose account uses it see the change and decide.

The limits

The rules are shown for guidance only. A firm can change a rule at any time, including between two checks. Some values aren’t published in text, such as some evaluation prices, and stay out until they are. When a rule depends on the account’s progress, like Apex’s daily limit on funded accounts, the strictest level is shown. Always confirm on the firm’s official site. Sweep is not affiliated with any of these firms.
