What a benchmark day is
A benchmark day is a trading day on which your profit reaches a minimum set by your firm, for example $150 on a 50K Topstep funded account. FundedNext Futures calls them Benchmark Days; Topstep and Alpha Futures say winning days. A green day below the minimum doesn’t count.
At the firms Sweep tracks, they count on funded accounts, before each payout: once you have the number required since your last payout, and the other conditions are met, you can ask for it. Evaluations have their own rule, a minimum number of trading days, compared in prop firm minimum trading days.
How to count yours
Count only the days since your last payout, with each day’s result as your firm shows it: a trading day runs from one session close to the next, and the firm decides whether fees are taken out. The calculator above does the count for the account you pick. A payout has other conditions too, such as a balance to keep or a consistency rule: they are compared in prop firm payout rules.
